Bikini Therapy

Before the Service

• Show up to your appointment in comfortable loose fitting clothes, so it is easy to undress.

• Only schedule the Calm & Clarity Bikini Therapy for the same day as your brazilian wax. If you want the Breakout & Brighten, it needs to be at least 3 days after your wax.

• There must be little to no hair present to receive the full benefit of Bikini Therapy.

During the Service

• Your esthetician will ask you a few questions to ensure that this is the right treatment for you.

• You will undress from the waist down and you will lay on the table where your esthetician will partly cover you with a towel.

​​

• Based on the results you are looking for, we will apply 1 of 2 treatments: Calm and Clarity or Breakouts and Brighten.

Calm and Clarity

This Bikini Therapy treatment is best if you have red, irritated, or inflamed skin that needs extra soothing and can be performed right after a wax. It includes:​

• A pearly polish gentle exfoliator to help eliminate bikini bumps and ingrowns. Contains dandelion root extract to reduce skin inflammation, and increase hydration and collagen; niacinamide (antioxidant) that helps repair, condition, and protect skin; and pearl powder to brighten and clear skin.

• A powerful peach enzyme mask that smooths, brightens, and resurfaces. Contains peach leaf extract (antioxidant) to boost hydration, calm irritation, and diminish inflammation; kojic acid to naturally lighten dark spots, and peach oil packed with fatty acids to help soften and restore skin.

• Extractions to rid the pubic mound of ingrown hairs and blockages.

• An anti-inflammatory toner to detoxify, calm, and protect. Contains palmitoyl tripeptide- 8 to calm and soothe skin; calendula with anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties; and azulene an anti-irritant.

• A cool-aid calming mask that provides relief and hydration to heal the skin and minimize any irritation. Contains marshmallow root to provide relief from itching, swelling, redness, and chaffing; edelweiss extract to hydrate, soothe and repair; and collagen-rich dragon’s blood extract to promote healing and restoration.

• A fragrance-free and pH-balanced, cooling sheet mask to help with product penetration which brightens and protects skin. Contains arbutin to gently lighten and even skin tone; daisy flower extract to aid in wound healing and brighten skin; and palmitoyl tripeptide- 8 to calm and soothe skin.

• A soothing, prickly milk serum to soften and revitalize skin. Contains saffron extract to hydrate and soothe; vitamin-packed cactus flower extract that hydrates, nourishes, firms, and brightens, and prickly pear seed oil to gently soothe and improve skin tone and texture.

• Finished with a hydrating lotion that quenches dryness, soothes irritation, and protects your sensitive skin. Contains sweet almond oil to relieve itchiness and dryness; hemp seed oil to reduce inflammation; and jojoba seed oil that moisturizes and soothes skin.

• A gentle cleanse with a refreshing intimate foam wash designed for the delicate vaginal ecology with an effective cleansing action. Contains manuka honey for scarring and inflammation, silk amino acids for tissue repair, and papaya enzymes for gentle exfoliation.

Breakouts and Brighten

This Bikini Therapy is best if you have trouble with ingrown hairs and light discoloration and can be performed at least 3 days after a wax. It includes:

• A gentle cleanse with a refreshing intimate foam wash designed for the delicate vaginal ecology with an effective cleansing action. Contains manuka honey for scarring and inflammation, silk amino acids for tissue repair, and papaya enzymes for gentle exfoliation.

• A pearly polish gentle exfoliator to help eliminate bikini bumps and ingrowns. Contains dandelion root extract to reduce skin inflammation, and increase hydration and collagen; niacinamide (antioxidant) that helps repair, condition, and protect skin; and pearl powder to brighten and clear skin.

• A powerful peach enzyme mask that smooths, brightens, and resurfaces. Contains peach leaf extract (antioxidant) to boost hydration, calm irritation, and diminish inflammation; kojic acid to naturally lighten dark spots; and peach oil packed with fatty acids to help soften and restore skin.

• Steam to loosen oil, dirt, and ingrown hairs that can clog the skin.

• Extractions to rid the pubic mound of ingrown hairs and blockages.

• An anti-inflammatory toner to detoxify, calm, and protect. Contains palmitoyl tripeptide- 8 to calm and soothe skin; calendula with anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties; and azulene an anti-irritant.

• A detoxifying AHA/BHA refining mask to reduce oil to reveal glowing, brighter skin. Contains kaolin clay to purify; magnesium aluminum silicate that absorbs excess oils and detoxifies; and spirulina to absorb free radicals and increase cellular turnover.

• A fragrance-free and pH-balanced, cooling sheet mask to help with product penetration which brightens and protects the skin. Contains arbutin to gently lighten and even skin tone; daisy flower extract to aid in wound healing and brighten skin; and palmitoyl tripeptide- 8 to calm and soothe skin.

• A high-frequency treatment to help kill bacteria and aid in product penetration. It also helps stimulate circulation, aids in detoxification, contracts blood vessels which minimize red inflamed skin, shrinks pores, and reduces signs of aging.

• A soothing, prickly milk serum to soften and revitalize skin. Contains saffron extract to hydrate and soothe; vitamin-packed cactus flower extract that hydrates, nourishes, firms, and brightens; and prickly pear seed oil to gently soothe and improve skin tone and texture.

• Finished with a hydrating lotion that quenches dryness, soothes irritation, and protects your sensitive skin. Contains sweet almond oil to relieve itchiness and dryness; hemp seed oil to reduce inflammation; and jojoba seed oil that moisturizes and soothes skin.

After the Service

• No touching! This can cause you to break out if you’ve been freshly waxed as your hands can spread bacteria.

• No sun or tanning for at least 48 hours after your service. Some products we use are exfoliating and it could increase your risk for sunburn.

• Continue with your esthetician-recommended aftercare 3 days after your service.

• Be sure to moisturize your skin every day for the best results. This helps keep skin healthy and helps the wax remove the hair easier. Waxing and dry skin do not mix. If you need recommendations, just give us a call or text!​

• Come back and see us once a month! Continuing with your Bikini Therapy will give you the best results with your waxing services. And don’t forget to enjoy your beautiful, smooth skin!

Intimate Illumination

Before the Service

• Show up to your appointment in comfortable, loose-fitting clothes, so it is easy to undress. You will be leaving with cream on the treated area that might transfer to clothes.

• Schedule the Intimate Illumination Treatment no sooner than a week after your brazilian wax.

• Schedule all of your treatments in your series at the same time so you do not miss one.

• There must be little to no hair present to receive the full benefit of the Intimate Illumination Treatment.

• No tanning for 48 hours, including sun and salon tanning.

• Any area with sunburn, irritated skin, or open skin can NOT be treated.

• If you have a history of herpes simplex viral infections in the area being treated, it is recommended to take a prescription antiviral medication to prevent an outbreak. This medication should be started 3 days prior to the procedure and continued for 5 days post-care.

During the Service

• Your esthetician will ask you a few questions to ensure that this is the right treatment for you.

• You will undress from the waist down and you will lay on the table where your esthetician will partly cover you with a towel.

• We will begin the illumination treatment which includes:

• A gentle pre-cleanse with a refreshing intimate foam wash designed for the delicate vaginal ecology with an effective cleansing action. Contains manuka honey for scarring and inflammation, silk amino acids for tissue repair, and papaya enzymes for gentle exfoliation.

• “Degreasing” the skin with our 10% Lactic Acid Peel. This helps to ensure the next peel can properly penetrate the skin and goes on smoothly. Contains lactic acid to gently exfoliate and help to gradually brighten and even skin tone; papaya enzymes to remove dead skin cells; and malic acid (an AHAand antioxidant derived from apples) that lightly exfoliates.

• Applying the Bikini Brite Peel which allows us to gradually brighten hyperpigmentation anywhere on the body and is hydroquinone free. It is safe to be used on all skin types and Fitzpatrick’s. Contains 25% mandelic acid (derived from bitter almonds), Skin Brightener, and anti-inflammatory properties; 15% lactic acid; green tea as an anti-inflammatory; arbutin used as a tyrosinase inhibitor; and licorice extracts to helps reduce the activity of melanin production.

• Then we apply the AHA/BHA Refining Masque that reduces oil and detoxifies while a blend of acids lightly exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and help to even out skin tone and texture. Contains kaolin clay which is oil absorbing, detoxifying, and purifying; smectite clay that is oil absorbing, calming, and anti-inflammatory; glycolic acid that aids in removing dead skin cells and stimulates cellular turnover; salicylic acid with its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, azelaic acid with its antibacterial properties and ability to act as an accelerator to brighten the skin; and finally kojic acid as a natural skin brightener.

• Lastly, you will be given disposable underwear to go home in as the lask will stay on your skin for at least 2-4 hours after the treatment.

After the Service

Day of Treatment

• No touching! This can cause you to break out as your hands can spread bacteria.

• You can remove your mask 2-4 hours after the treatment with the Hoo Haa cleanser included in your take home kit.

• After removing the mask, apply Hoo Haa Lotion to the treated area.

• For the next 2 days re-apply the AHA/BHA Refining Masque at night.

Days 1-3 Daily Routine:

• • AM
    • Cleanse the treated area with Hoo Haa Cleanser
    • Rinse and pat dry gently, as friction can cause further discoloration
    • Apply Bikini Bottom and let dry completely
    • Apply Hoo Haa Brite Lotion to help minimize itch
    • To prevent further trauma to the delicate skin, apply Arnica Calming Gel to the affected area. Use as needed or when “heat” is felt

    • Cleanse the treated area with Hoo Haa Cleanser
    • Rinse and pat dry gently, as friction can cause further discoloration
    • Apply Bikini Bottom and let dry completely
    • Apply AHA/BHA Refining Masque
    • Apply Hoo Haa Brite Lotion to help minimize itch

  • Apply Hoo Haa Brite Lotion to help minimize itch

Day 8+ Maintenance:

• Daily use of Hoo Haa Cleanser, Bikini Bottom, and Hoo Haa Brite Lotion

• Come back and see us on your scheduled series! Continuing with your Intimate Illumination Treatment will give you the best results. And don’t forget to enjoy your beautiful, bright skin!

Your Intimate Bikini Homecare Brightening Kit includes:

• Hoo Haa Cleanser– a refreshing intimate foam wash designed for the delicate vaginal ecology with an effective cleansing action. Contains manuka honey for scarring and inflammation, silk amino acids for tissue repair, and papaya enzymes for gentle exfoliation.

• Bikini Bottom– formulated for sensitive skin types, consists of natural brighteners to help prevent folliculitis, diminish discoloration, and reduce irritation from pre/ post waxing, shaving, and daily friction. Contains agave tequilana leaf to help clear blemishes, soothe itches and maintain healthy skin; turmeric root, a natural anti-inflammatory and humectant that is superior for soothing irritated skin; phytic acid that blocks the formation of melanin; and mandelic acid the gently exfoliates and has anti-inflammatory properties.

• Hoo Haa Brite Lotion– helps to eliminate P.I.H. -post inflammatory hyper pigmentation as well as alleviates itchy dry skin and unwanted irritation that can be associated with the Intimate Brightening treatment. Contains rumex occidentalis extract, a safer alternative to hydroquinone for improving hyper pigmentation that inhibits the production of tyrosinase; licorice extract to help reduce the activity of melanin production which improves dark spots and hyperpigmentation; and algae extract that replenishes the lipid barrier which helps to keep the skin moisturized by preventing water loss.

• AHA/BHA Refining Masque– a mask that reduces oil and detoxifies while a blend of acids lightly exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and help to even out skin tone and texture. Contains kaolin clay which is oil absorbing, detoxifying, and purifying; smectite clay that is oil absorbing, calming, and anti-inflammatory; glycolic acid that aids in removing dead skin cells and stimulates cellular turnover; salicylic acid with its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, azelaic acid with its antibacterial properties and ability to act as an accelerator to brighten the skin; and finally kojic acid as a natural skin brightener.

• Arnica Recovery Gel– a cooling gel that aids in accelerating wound healing and minimizes bruises and other traumatic injuries. It reduces inflammation and eases pain. This therapeutic post-procedure gel provides topical relief and hydration to irritated skin. Contains arnica montana flower extract that has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to soothe and renew the skin after invasive treatment; copper gluconate, a powerful antioxidant that stimulates fibroblasts to produce healthy collagen; and monk’s pepper extract that has moisturizing properties and enhances skin vitality.
